Music4All School actively participates in a crucial transnational working session hosted by our partners at Just Dance Club in Belgrade, Serbia. This activity, an integral part of the Erasmus+ project “Music and Dance, a Perfect Fusion,” focuses on refining and implementing the teaching methods developed within the project in a stimulating international environment.
An International Framework for Practical Learning
Scheduled for March 2024, the session brings together music and dance teachers from Romania and Serbia. In an interactive setting, participants will share their knowledge and collaborate to adapt and refine teaching methods that integrate music and stage movement. This exchange of expertise not only enhances the professional skills of participants but also contributes to the creation of a more integrative and efficient curriculum.
Refining Teaching Methods
The primary focus of the session is to finalize and adjust three musicality methods designed for dance teachers focusing on samba, cha-cha, and jive dances. Through practical workshops and feedback sessions, the methods are tested and adapted to ensure the highest quality of instruction.
Impact and Vision
The outcomes of this working session will be disseminated locally and internationally through various channels, including online publications and seminars. This ensures that the pedagogical innovations generated in Serbia will positively influence educational practices in the performing arts globally.
Conclusions
The Transnational Working Session in Serbia at Just Dance is an excellent example of how cross-border collaboration and exchange of expertise can bring significant improvements in artistic education. It demonstrates the power of international collaboration in shaping future generations of artists and educators.
